BREATHE to Heal
Feeling anxious or low energy? Try this practice.
Today I attended my first training at my psychotherapist internship site. We learned about Integrative Body Psychotherapy. Which, of course, as a yogi, is right up my alley. One of the basic tools of IBP is the breath. The basics for this particular breath technique:
✔️ Both feet grounded, support your own spine, wiggle into your glutes + toes
✔️ Breathe through your mouth
✔️ Follow your hands with your eyes, not your head
✔️ Repeat 5x
✔️ Notice how it feels
Calm. Energy.
