Mindfulness Meditation

Mindful Monday: I like to think Mondays should be good for something. So let’s make it a mindful one.

One way I practice mindfulness is meditation. A lot of people avoid meditation because they think they can’t do it. But what they think they can’t do is not what meditation is.

My teacher taught me that meditation is something that happens *to us. And not something we need to *do.

It’s a process of noticing. Maybe we can just give that a try today. Take a seat. Close your eyes. Notice your breath. Ahhhhh yes. That’s more like it. It can be that simple for now. No need to overcomplicate it.
