Self-care Sunday: Taking a cue from Auggie 🐶
How do you take care of you? We have a lot of excuses for not. “Too busy.” “No money.” “Others need me.” “That’s selfish.”
Where do we learn these ways to sabotage our own self? We aren’t much use to the world- or to ourselves- if we aren’t practicing some self-care. And no one is gonna self-care for you.
Three easy steps to transform your self-care routine.
First step: Get familiar with what “feeds” you. Walks? Meditation? Yoga? Naps? Chocolate? Deep breaths? Physical activity? Writing?
Second step: Give yourself permission to take time for self-care. And do a little something each day.
Third Step: Notice how your awareness of self-care has shifted something in your life, shifted how you feel about a situation, shifted how you feel about you.
And, Repeat.
